Work in Progress

I must admit, I was immediately worried when we were told we were already supposed to present a portfolio for our midterms. And as if that weren’t enough, we were supposed to present one in front of a panel!!!

My hard drive quit on me last week as I prepared to showcase my portfolio for a dry-run last week. I was devastated. That obviously humbled down my portfolio even more. Luckily I would be able to present at least 15 photos, the minimum for this Wednesday. THIS Wednesday!!!!

I wasn’t always an artist. In fact, I consider myself a budding artist, a yet-to-blossom photographer ever willing to be nourished and nurtured with every piece of information and inspiration sprinkled on me. Thus the title of my cover image for my portfolio presentation: Work in Progress. (am still working on the title!;D)

I have yet to practice more, hopefully find the right outfit, and even better the photos I would present this Wednesday. I couldn’t really bring myself to even hope to Wow the panel for our presentation. My only wish is they find what I always seek to see in everything else: potential. *fingers crossed. :D

Hey World! I'm 19!

I try to remember people's birthdays as much as I can. I love birthdays. I love it 'cause it's the one day I think you can really call YOUR day, well, at least the day that other people would usually recognize yours too. Why can't everyday be my birthday?;D

But the thing is it might be YOUR day, but it really depends on how the people who know and love you make it yours; how more than wanting to be part of the birthday treats, they simply just want to celebrate your day with you, hoping that in their own little way, they make you feel special. ..I'm so blessed!:D

I will post about my birthday tomorrow. For now,

*I couldn't find a solo photo of my 19yy self.. so here's my first plate as a 19yy!:D

Stayed up till about 5 to finish this but my professor didn't show up. ._.

Now, I think I'll have to repeat it. We're supposed to make a self-portrait using basic shapes and tonal values. ..I don't think I showed much shapes. The lines are more prominent. The BG doesn't count. It's just a means to cover up the mess I made on the BG.;P

This is me(june something). I wonder what’s wrong with that mirror. I somehow look different in it.. look at those lips! ;)

Anddd This is me(07.06 or 07). I got the most awesome jet black big circles around my eyes finishing this, but I like it! Doesn’t it look human?!!!:D *I still don't know how to draw hair.. so the hair is courtesy of my room mate! ty hannah!:D

I’m really enjoying my freehand class. I’m learning!:D Mostly from youtu(be)-niversity.. it’s the best school ever! You can go whenever you want, pause/forward the prof's blabbering and even switch between classes! +you can mute when you don’t feel like listening! plus! it's free too! why didn't i just enroll there.. ;P


If i can draw (well.. super slight..), then anything's possible!:D
